How It Works

There are two ways to build a plan, and they share one flow. Both walk you through the same five steps and end with the same exports.

Two Ways In

Which one you pick depends on what your boxes go into. Both live in the main menu, and both work the same way once you are past the first step.

Load Optimization
You are filling a vehicle: a container, a trailer, or a truck bed. The first step asks for carriers, and you can list several.
Mixed Palletizing
You are building pallets. The first step asks for footprints and for the load height above the deck.

The Five Steps

Each step asks for one thing and shows only what you need at that moment. Two of the five differ between the wizards, and the difference is named below.

1
Carriers, or Pallets

Pick what your boxes go into and how many of each you need. In a load that is a container, a trailer, or a truck bed. On a pallet it is a footprint plus the load height above the deck. List more than one and the optimizer fills them in the order they appear.

2
Boxes

Add your box types by hand, or import them from a spreadsheet. Each type carries its dimensions, its weight, how many you have, whether other boxes may stand on top of it, and which rotations are allowed.

3
Configuration, or Pallet Options

For a load you choose the loading direction and whether to shift the mass towards the centre. For a pallet there is nothing to set yet: boxes are stacked from the bottom up, one complete floor at a time.

4
Calculate

The plan is worked out and appears in the 3D viewer. How long it takes depends on how many boxes you sent.

5
Export

Take the plan with you: placement instructions as a PDF for the floor, the whole thing as an Excel file you can import again later, or a share link for someone without an account.

Loady Comes Along

Every step has its own assistant, except the pallet options step, which has nothing to set. Describe what you want in your own words and you get a card back with what will go on the form. Accept it or ignore it, and nothing changes until you do.

After the Plan

A finished plan is not the end of the line. You can look through it, and you can change it by hand.

3D Viewer
Turn the load around, hide layers, and click a box to see where it sits and what it weighs.
Edit Mode
Move a box, rotate it, lift one onto the staging shelf and drop it back somewhere else. Every change can be undone.

The Same Plans Without the Web App

Your own software can do what the wizard does. You send a job, wait for it to finish, and read back the same plan you would have seen on screen. Placement instructions and share links work from there too, and both wizards have an equivalent: a job says whether it is a load or a set of mixed pallets.

Where to Start
You need a key first. The reference then has a quickstart you can follow in about five minutes, and the full list of fields you can send.

API access is part of the paid plans. If your plan does not include it yet, the API page shows you how to change that.

Next Steps

Whichever wizard you use, the box list is the same. That is the part worth reading before you build your first plan.
